(09/10/2015) Paranapanema will be present in the 19th edition of Febrava (International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Heating and Air Treatment) happening between 22 and 25 September in São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The company introduces the Eluma’s tubes line, the market leader in Brazil and with strong international participation, for water heating systems (solar, gas, among others), refrigeration, air conditioning, gas and other applications using Paranapanema’s copper with 99.99% purity. For the customer, the result is beneficial: higher efficiency in heat exchange, better forming properties and corrosion resistance.

The Eluma tubes stand out mainly for being of copper, fully recyclable metal, which supports high temperatures and offers increased durability and safety. The company produces three types of tubes in our plant in Santo André (SP): smooth, grooved and finned.

The smooth tubes are for refrigeration segment, air conditioning and general applications. This the main product Eluma sold in Brazil nowadays. The grooved seamless pipes (known as Inner Grooved) provide more efficient heat transfer and are suitable for areas of air conditioning and refrigeration, with the advantage of providing lower power consumption and reduction in size of the equipment. Both are manufactured with the Cast & Roll technology, the most modern of the market, and in accordance with strict international standards and with the technical standards commonly used for industrial application. Smooth are also manufactured by the extrusion process.

The finned tubes, also manufactured by the Cast & Roll process, have an exclusive technology Paranapanema in Brazil. While the Inner Grooved tubes have only internal grooves, the finned are also externally, and ensuring more efficient heat exchange for specific applications in the industrial refrigeration sector.
