(01/26/2017) Paranapanema, the largest Brazilian producer of refined copper and copper products, will participate in the AHR Expo (The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition), which takes place between January 30 and February 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, US. The company’s objective in the event is to follow the global news of the sector and to strengthen the relationship with national and international clients.

“AHR Expo brings together content and exhibitors of world-class excellence and, therefore, is an excellent opportunity to have access to the latest innovations in the refrigeration industry. We will also take advantage of the event to meet with our clients from all over the world, including Brazil,” says Richard Gorian, Commercial Manager at Paranapanema.

The fair is one of the most traditional in the world and has been held for 85 years, attracting more than 60 thousand visitors from 150 countries. Paranapanema will exhibit is Eluma line of pipes, the market leader in Brazil and with a strong international participation, used in water heating (solar, gas, among others), refrigeration, air conditioning, gas transportation systems and other applications, manufactured with the super pure copper produced by the company itself.

Exporter of copper pipes for several countries, Paranapanema has an installed capacity of 3,000 tons/month of the product, and Brazil is the main consumer market, followed by the Middle East, Europe, South America and the North.

“On the fast-growing market, the refrigeration market has significantly expanded use of copper and we are prepared to withstand this demand,” Gorian concludes.

Flagship

Eluma pipes stand out mainly because they are produced 100% with Paranapanema electrolytic copper, with 99.9% purity. They are fully recyclable and withstand great temperature differences, which gives them greater durability and safety on installations.

Paranapanema produces three types of copper pipes at its industrial unit in Santo André (São Paulo): flat pipes (rigid and flexible), inner grooved pipes and finned pipes.

Flat pipes are suitable for the refrigeration, air conditioning and general application segments and are the main Eluma product marketed in Brazil.

As for the inner grooved pipes, they provide greater efficiency in the thermal exchange, being appropriate for the areas of air conditioning and refrigeration, with the advantage of providing lower energy consumption and reduction in equipment size.

All are manufactured with Cast & Roll technology, the most modern on the market, and in accordance with strict international standards and the most commonly used technical standards for industrial applications. The flat ones are also manufactured by the extrusion process.
