(05/19/2017) Paranapanema, the biggest Brazilian producer of refined copper and copper products, has participated, on May 10th and 11th, of Frio Calor [Cold Heat] Expo Paraguay, in the capital of the country. The Company’s goal is to follow-up all global innovations of the cooling and heating sector, in addition to tightening the bond with national and international clients.
“The participation of Paranapanema at Frio Calor Expo Paraguay 2017 was an excellent opportunity of improving partnership with our clients and representatives, not only during the event, but also during the external visits. Making an appearance and showing the importance the local market has for Paranapanema is essential to keep our position of No. 1 supplier of copper pipes for the Paraguayan refrigeration sector,” says William Gavioli Ciscare, Market Intelligence Analyst of Paranapanema.
The fair held its 2nd edition, with the presence of 40 companies and over 200 industry brands, showing the most recent novelties in products, services and technologies for the air conditioning, heating, ventilation, cooling and hot water sector in local and international levels.
A copper pipes exporter to various countries, Paranapanema has an installed production capacity of 3,000 tons/month of the product, being Brazil the main consumer market, followed by the Middle East, Europe, South America and North America.
Flagship
The Eluma pipes stand out, mainly due to being 100% produced with Paranapanema electrolytic copper, with 99.9% purity. They are totally recyclable and bear big temperature differences, which grants them greater durability and safety in the installations.
Paranapanema produces three types of copper pipes in its industrial unit of Santo André (SP): Plain pipes (rigid and flexible), grooved pipes and finned pipes.
Plain pipes are indicated for the refrigeration, air conditioning and general application segments, and is the main Eluma product sold in Brazil.
The inner grooved pipes allow greater flexibility in thermal exchange, being appropriated for climatization and refrigeration areas, with the advantage of allowing lesser energy consumption and reduction in the size of equipment. While the inner grooved pipes have only inner grooves, finned pipes, with exclusive technology of Paranapanema in Brazil, are also grooved externally (fins), also ensuring greater efficiency in thermal exchange for specific applications in the industrial refrigeration sector.
All are manufactured with Cast&Roll technology, the most modern one in the market, and according to strict international standards and to the most used technical standards for industrial applications. Plain pipes are also manufactured through the extrusion process.
