Elumas’ Tubes were Homologated by main Gas Natural and GLP Distributors of Brazil

Products made with copper super pure Paranapanema are recommended by several applications, check it

(03/02/2017) Did you know that Elumas’ Tubes, made with Super pure copper Paranapanema, were homologated by international standards that manages the installation of Gas and Fuel Gas Distributors’ Network? That’s right: to be used with Natural Gas and GLP, Elumas’ Tubes are 100% in accordance with the Brazil gas distributors’ reference documents, answering the requirements of Natural Gas distributor (Comgas CEG Rio, Fenosa Natural Gas, Compagas, Segas, Sulgas, and among others) and GLP (Ultragás, Copagas, Utingas and among others).

Several ABNT Standards (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards) support this utilization, they are the NBR 15526 – Internal Networks of distribution for combustible gases in residential and commercial installations. –  Project and Execution; NBR 13523 – Liquefied Petroleum Gas Plant (GPL); NBR 15358 – Internal Networks’ distribution for combustible gases in installations to not residential use up to 400kPA –   Project and Execution; NBR 16057 – System of heating water and gas (SAAG) – Project and Installation.

Copper tube Seamless – Eluma Hidrolar®

The Eluma tubes of the Hidrolar® line are rigid, seamless, made by the process of extrusion and calibrated in the commercial diameters by wire drawing, composed by at last 99% of super pure copper Paranapanema. Bars are commercialized from 5,0 to 2,5 meters and presents good chemical resistance, good corrosion resistance; facility of handling; few tendencies to scale; good mechanical resistance, long life serviceable and recyclable.

According with the application and identification of the copper tube, their classes are specified. Unless indication of the hydraulic designer, normally are used to:

  • Installation of cold water and hot water, combustible gases, installation of fighting fire by hydrant and sprinklers: TUBES CLASS E – Identified by plastic caps in the green color. They are coupled with connections by soldering or capillary brazing.
  • All the installations indicated by the TUBES CLASS E and installations of medicinal gases: TUBE A CLASS A – Identified by plastic caps in the yellow color. They are coupled with connections by soldering or capillary brazing.
  • All the installations indicated to the TUBE CLASS A and industrial installations of high pressure and vapor: TUBES CLASS I – Identified by plastic caps in the blue color. They are coupled with connections by soldering or capillary brazing.
