(04/14/2016) The copper is used in almost every electrical power conduction applications. It is an essential component in products and electrical systems, from wires, cables, motors, until generators, transformers, and protective equipment.

Its adoption makes some electrical equipment more efficient, ie, can perform the same job, but consuming less energy.

The fine copper’s ability to carry electrical current helps reduce power consumption by improving the performance of equipment and reducing emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the environment.

According to the Copper Alliance, if all countries adopt best practices for electromotive systems in 2030 would be reduced about 10% global electricity consumption. Furthermore, the gain would be extended to the environment to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 1.8 billion tons.

The search for energy efficiency is directly linked to improving the quality of the environment and the production process.
