(11/14/2016) Time to celebrate: Paranapanema is the only winner in the Category of Metallurgy, created this year by the Business Leaders Award. The award, which in 2016 arrives in its sixth edition, is promoted by the Lide Group, organization that gathers businessmen in twelve countries to discuss economic and social issues in the public and private sectors.

In this edition, there will be 46 winners, plus numerous honors. Paranapanema was chosen through voting in the meeting of the Management Committee of Lide Group, held in early October, and took into account such items as growth, innovation, social responsibility and entrepreneurial initiatives.

According to Luiz Fernando Furlan, chairman of the Board of LIDE Group, the Brazil Leaders Award seeks to highlight the role of companies and managers that with a lot of determination, overcame challenges and achieve good results, serving as example for the sector in which they operate.

The award will bring together entrepreneurs and authorities on the night of December 12th, at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes (Headquarters of the São Paulo State Government), in São Paulo.
